GF Machining Solutions has launched a new version of the Computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software Laser CAM, which is part of the Laser Suite 360 software package.
At the EPHJ trade show held in Geneva (Switzerland), GF Machining Solutions launched a new advanced software, Laser CAM. Laser CAM is included in the Laser Suite 360 1.13.0 software package, providing operators with a brand new user interface that allows for easy creation and editing of laser engraving and decorative designs. It provides higher computing speed, thereby reducing the time required for programming and setup, and enabling manufacturers to quickly respond to changing production demands and bring their products to the market faster. It is designed specifically for laser engraving, microfabrication, and decoration operations, built on more than ten years of experience in this field, and is expected to greatly improve the way manufacturers operate laser machines.
In addition to existing carving tools, Laser CAM also includes unique features such as 3D precision machining, sandblasting, and watchmaking decoration, allowing manufacturers to create complex and precise designs. The software adopts a novel modular architecture for development, achieving a significant leap in user friendliness. Therefore, the company will be able to expand its capabilities in future versions, aiming to consolidate its leading position in the fields of microcavity, semiconductor and hard material processing, as well as watchmaking applications. Laser CAM is compatible with GF Machining Solutions' full range of laser ablation machines, meeting the specific needs of each manufacturer.
