Good day folks,

I am new to the laser hobby and just purchased a Creality Falcon 2 40W machine and a licenced copy of Lightburn software.
I have a regular Win 10 64 Bit PC, but I was wondering if there is anyway to install Lightburn onto my Surface RT. As it is portable and no longer being used, I thought it might be a good candidate for my PC to Laser hookup. Wasting my time?
Cheers.

While possible this too will be non-trivial. There are quite a few hurdles to boot and install either Linux ARM or a modern Windows ARM implementation on the device.
Another hurdle is that this is a 32-bit device. LightBurn only has a 32-bit build for Windows.
Windows ARM should have a workable x86 emulation built-in. Running Windows 10 and then trying to emulate x86 on the 2GB RAM available will likely result in subpar performance. Then couple that with 1366x768 resolution and you’re likely to feel a little cramped.
An interesting side project surely but not practical.
Might work better as a remote desktop client for a different computer running LightBurn.
