CO2 laser cutting machines, UV laser cutting machines, and metal laser cutting machines all use laser chillers for cooling and require maintenance of the chillers.

Hydrocooling

In a metal laser cutting machine, both the laser and cutting head components require cooling from a chiller. The two components have different requirements for water temperature, and the special dual temperature chiller also has separate high and low temperature temperature control systems. The high-temperature cooling cutting head and the low-temperature cooling laser are cooled by one chiller, which solves the cooling of the two components of the cutting machine.

 

1. Replace the circulating cooling water
Regular replacement of circulating cooling water is required, and it is recommended to replace it every one to three months. Long term use of circulating water can easily form scale, which can cause blockage of pipelines and decrease water flow, affecting the cooling effect. Large scale chillers are equipped with filters and also require regular replacement. The filter element adopts industrial grade wire wound filter element, which can still be used after cleaning. If the filter element turns yellow seriously, it needs to be replaced to avoid affecting the filtration of water quality.

 

2. Cleaning dust
The environment where metal cutting machines are used is quite dusty. Over time, there will be a lot of dust accumulation on the fins of the condenser of the chiller, which affects heat dissipation and needs to be cleaned regularly. The dustproof net of the Teyu electromechanical chiller has been specially designed. By opening the side sheet metal buckle, the dustproof net can be removed, and installation is also very convenient.

 

3. Pay attention to ventilation environment
Attention should be paid to ventilation around the laser chiller, and obstacles should not be piled up. The fan should be kept at a distance of more than 50cm from obstacles, and the air inlet (dust net) should be kept at a distance of more than 30cm from obstacles.


The maintenance of the chiller is done well, which can improve the efficiency of refrigeration.
