1.Firstly, check the main circuit. Whether the power supply is powered on, whether the voltage is normal, whether the starting overload fuse is burnt out, whether the air switch is tripped, whether the switch contact is intact, and whether the power supply is out of phase. When starting, observe the voltmeter and ammeter. When the industrial chiller does not have a distribution meter or voltmeter, use a multimeter or measuring pen to check if the power supply is normal. When the power supply voltage is too low, the compressor will be prevented from starting.

2. For industrial chillers, check if the connecting rod large end bearing and the sleeve are locked together. This may be due to high exhaust temperature during previous operation, or due to coking of lubricating oil, the cylinder and piston are combined to prevent the compressor from starting.

3. Check the differential pressure relay and the high and low voltage relay. When the oil pressure of the compressor is abnormal, the compressor can stop running. At the same time, when the discharge pressure and suction pressure of the compressor are abnormal, the compressor cannot start or quickly stops running after starting.

4. Check if the chilled water volume, cooling water volume, and water temperature are normal. If the water volume is small and the water temperature is high, the condensation pressure will rise sharply and the evaporation temperature will drop rapidly. Due to the protective facilities of the unit, it often stops quickly.

    • The chiller cannot start, usually due to:
      (1) If the power supply is cut off or the voltage is too low, as long as the circuit fault is eliminated, power can be supplied according to the requirements of the chiller unit. (2) Improper adjustment of the temperature controller caused the contact to remain open. Simply readjust the temperature control setting value.
      (3) If the cooling water is not turned on and the interlocking circuit is disconnected, simply turn on the cooling system and connect the interlocking circuit.
      (4) After the protective device is activated, it does not reset. Press the shutdown button once and then restart.
