Therefore, the premise of doing a good job in the maintenance of the laser is to ensure that the chiller closely related to it is regularly replaced with ionized water, because the purity of the cooling water is the key to ensuring the service life of the exciter focusing cavity component, laser output, and welding effect.

Firstly, place the multimeter in a 2MV resistance box, and place the exposed metal parts of the two pens at a distance of 1cm apart. Then, insert them parallel into the cooling water surface. Pay attention to the resistance reading at this time. If the resistance reading is below 250kW, replace the cooling water immediately. The conductivity of the injected pure water must be 32MV/cm. In principle, the water of the chiller should be replaced regularly every month, but in practical operation, the conductivity of the internal circulating water should be checked at least once a week to ensure its conductivity is within 30.5MW/cm.
When using a laser welding machine in daily operations, we should pay attention to whether the titanium tube of the chiller is frosted. If frosting occurs, it may be due to insufficient Freon in the refrigeration system. At this time, it is not necessary to blindly inspect the equipment by oneself. Professional personnel should be asked to inspect the equipment, which will greatly test the after-sales service of the laser welding equipment manufacturer.
