Recently, Lumibird, a leading European laser technology company, announced the acquisition of Innopics, headquartered in Bordeaux, France. Through this acquisition, Lumibird will be newly incorporated into a team of five people, who have complementary technical knowledge and 12 years of experience in designing and manufacturing optoelectronic systems and components.
This expansion of technical expertise will enable Lumibird Group to accelerate its vertical strategy and develop a series of new products to cater to new markets, especially the low-cost laser segment for high-capacity markets.
It is reported that this acquisition will be carried out in cash. There is a profitability part based on the future performance level, and the amount is confidential. Since August 31, 2022, the company has been included in the consolidated basis of Lumibird.

Innopics will also be able to consolidate Lumibird's low-cost laser development project and national defense and space projects.
