On October 8, 1 million temperature sensors from Huagong Gaoli, a subsidiary of Huagong Technology, were being sent to Europe through Shanghai Port as promised, or will be used in local air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and other appliances. In recent years, the global industrial chain supply chain has been impacted to varying degrees, and "Wuhan" is a special presence for the global industrial chain supply chain.
"Since the global epidemic, the production capacity of some regions of the upstream manufacturers of white goods in Europe has declined, while China has always maintained a stable and efficient production capacity. Taking Wuhan Metropolitan Area as an example, the industrial economy has developed steadily and tenaciously. The production of Huagong Technology Group and its Huagong Gaoli has been stable, and orders have been very stable." Shen Chaofan, the director of international business of Gaoli of Huagong, said that the company had previously sold its temperature sensor products to more than 30 countries and regions with excellent technology, and its customers have covered Samsung, Whirlpool, Philips, Electrolux and other world-renowned enterprises. As of September this year, the export volume of Huagong Gaoli temperature sensors has increased by more than 20% year on year.
On October 8, Ruike Laser was located in the service center directly under Istanbul, Turkey, and the engineers were preparing to start processing the equipment installation application. Just in the past National Day holiday, Ruike Laser's 20000 watt high power fiber laser cutting machine appeared in Istanbul International Convention and Exhibition Center, Turkey, which is the mainstream product of high power lasers and is widely welcomed.
In the first half of the year, the number of continuous laser exports of different power bands of Ruike Laser kept growing, and it expanded the global market. This year, it established after-sales service centers in Turkey, Russia, Thailand, South Korea, Germany, India and other places.
Liu Yuling, marketing director of Ruike Laser, introduced that laser is being used as the most important light source for cutting, welding and 3D printing in the field of materials in the global industrial manufacturing field. Relying on its ability to integrate the whole industry chain in the field of fiber laser, the fiber laser products independently developed by Ruike have directly lowered the prices previously monopolized by overseas industry leaders, making China's supply chain appear in the wave of global manufacturing upgrading.
On the industrial high power fiber laser track, Ruike Laser is competing with IPG, an international old brand enterprise, for the first place in the world market share. In the field of temperature sensors, Huagong Gaoli holds 70% of the global market share. The two enterprises are the representatives of Wuhan to improve its position in the division of labor in the global value chain.
With the rapid restructuring of the international industrial division pattern, can China produce world-class industrial clusters? In the view of Xie Changsheng, a distinguished professor of Wuhan National Research Center for Optoelectronics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China has a great opportunity to take the lead in achieving breakthroughs in the optoelectronic information industry, while Wuhan is "unique".
In the first half of this year, the export of Hubei photoelectric technology products grew fastest, with a growth rate of 114.7%. According to the relevant person in charge of Wuhan Customs Statistics and Analysis Department, this is inseparable from the focus on the construction of the core industrial chain of "optical core screen terminal network" in recent years.
Wuhan has an important strategic position in the national and even global optical communication field. From "the most complete industry" to "the independent and controllable industrial chain", it has developed into the world's largest optical fiber and cable manufacturing base, the country's largest optoelectronic device production base and optical communication technology research and development base, and proposed to build a world-class industrial cluster of optoelectronic information (including software and information services).
Wuhan actively participates in the division of labor in the international industrial chain supply chain. The global market share of optical fiber and optical cable and optoelectronic devices is 23% and 10% respectively, and the domestic market share is more than half. About 20% of the world's flexible display panels and 30% of the world's microcomputers are produced. Last month, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the first 12 pilot cities for the construction of industrial chain supply chain ecosystem, including Wuhan. With this opportunity, Wuhan will welcome the opportunity to improve the overall strength and modernization level of the industrial chain supply chain, and accelerate the formation of new competitive advantages of the global industrial chain supply chain.
