For industrial water chillers, the cooling water is generally cooled by tap water. Some people will ask, is it OK to use inlet water and river water? The answer is no.
Because water in the north, especially, has serious scale. If well water is used for cooling, it may be that scale in our condenser, blocking our condenser and causing our equipment to often report high pressure.
In addition, if the water in the water tank uses well water and river water, it is also not allowed. Generally speaking, in order to exchange heat well, the chiller usually uses copper tubes for cooling and cooling. However, the water from rivers and wells will have certain acidity and alkalinity, especially the industrial wastewater, which is more harmful to the chiller. Copper pipes are easy to break, so it is not recommended to use groundwater, river water or well water.
In addition to the fact that the water chiller cannot be cooled by river water, well water and groundwater, the following points should also be noted.
1. Select cooling water with good quality. The cooling tower has been in the air for a long time and contains many impurities. We should regularly add purification agents to the cooling water to avoid the breeding of microorganisms and algae, so as to ensure the quality of cooling water.
2. Choose a good water source. For example, well water, river water and tap water should not be used as much as possible. We'd better use tap water. When using river water and groundwater, we should purchase filtration equipment in advance and use the treated water for cooling by the chiller.
3. Check the cooling water quantity regularly. Cooling water will be reduced due to industrial consumption and water evaporation. If maintenance is not carried out, cooling will be reduced. It is necessary for us to do a good job of water replenishment.
