01
Ensure the normal operation of the laser
Try to ensure that the ambient temperature is not lower than 5 ℃, so as to meet the normal operating conditions of the laser, and avoid causing failures or affecting the stability of the laser performance. Avoid the laser water cooler from freezing at low temperature.
1. The recommended method to prevent icing is to keep the chiller and laser in an environment with a temperature above 0 ℃.
2. If the above conditions cannot be met, please keep the laser and water cooler on. If the water in the pipeline is flowing all the time, it can prevent icing. Of course, in this case, if the chiller is shut down for a long time due to failure or power failure, there is also a certain risk of icing.
Precautions for laser water cooler in winter
3. During the Spring Festival and other holidays, if the above two points cannot be achieved, the water in the water tank and pipeline of the laser and water cooler can be drained as much as possible.
4. If none of the above methods is available, antifreeze can be added.
02
Attention shall be paid later
1. Add water again after the holiday, and exhaust the water pump before starting up, otherwise the water pump will be damaged.
2. For the water cooler added with antifreeze, please replace it with normal cooling water after winter, and change it back to the original parameters. Before changing the water, please completely flush the antifreeze in the whole water tank and pipeline, and then change the water normally. When changing water, the deionizing cylinder should also be replaced.
03
If the chiller and laser are not used for a long time
In this case, it is necessary to drain the water in both water tanks and pipelines as much as possible. Please pay attention to the following matters:
1. First discharge the water in the water cooler tank according to the usual method;
2. Drain the water in the water cooler pipeline as much as possible. Remove the water pipe from the water cooler, and use compressed gas to ventilate the four water inlets and outlets respectively until the water in the water cooler pipeline is basically discharged.
3. After removing the upper and lower quick plug pipes of the deionization tank, blow the water from top to bottom with compressed gas to blow out the residual water in the deionization tank. Then connect the upper and lower quick plug pipes back to the ion bucket. This can basically ensure that the deionization tank will not freeze and crack due to freezing.
4. Dismantle the water pipe at the water inlet and outlet of the laser end, and use compressed gas to ventilate the four water inlets and outlets respectively until the water in the internal water path of the laser is basically discharged.
5. Finally, drain the water in other water pipes outside the laser and water cooler.
