On June 6, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology, the Shenzhen Municipal Development and Reform Commission and the Shenzhen Municipal Commission of science and technology innovation issued the Shenzhen action plan for cultivating and developing laser and additive manufacturing industry clusters (2022-2025), which proposed that by 2025, the industrial added value would reach 14billion yuan, and 10 new manufacturing "single champions", specialized and new "little giant" and "unicorn" enterprises would be added.
As an important laser and additive manufacturing industry cluster in China, Shenzhen has initially formed an industrial ecosystem covering the whole chain of materials, devices, software, equipment and application services. It is a popular product category in China, such as multi module continuous fiber lasers, high-power laser cutting heads, battery welding equipment, etc.
The action plan issued this time has charted a road map for Shenzhen to accelerate the cultivation of strategic emerging industrial clusters of laser and additive manufacturing and promote the transformation of industries from medium and low-end to medium and high-end.
Shenzhen proposes to make substantial breakthroughs in key fields such as basic materials, core components, supporting software and high-end devices by 2025, add 1 provincial-level or above manufacturing innovation center and 10 enterprise technology centers, and steadily improve the innovation ability.
At the same time, industry applications are deeply integrated. By 2025, a number of "laser +" and "3D printing +" intelligent manufacturing application demonstration projects will be built around 3C electronics, new energy, new display and other advantageous fields. Build a number of industrial infrastructure and public service platforms for inspection, testing and verification, application research and development, promote the development of professional exhibitions, high-end forums and other industrial activities, and form an industrial development ecology covering source innovation, intelligent manufacturing and innovative applications.
To achieve this development goal, Shenzhen has deployed a number of key tasks and key projects. Among them, in promoting the advanced engineering of industrial foundation, we will focus on the development of laser crystals, special optical fibers, frequency conversion crystals, high entropy alloy powders, gradient materials, composites, biomaterials and ceramic core materials, promote the construction of high-frequency ultrasonic testing technology for additive manufacturing, equipment materials, fiber-reinforced materials laser parallel manufacturing process and equipment laser manufacturing basic materials, and accelerate the improvement of material supply level and capacity. Promote the industrialization of core devices, focus on the development of high-performance laser chips, optical modulation chips, high-power gratings, beam shaping mirrors, scanning galvanometers, ultra-high power laser cutting heads, 3D printing heads, high brightness pump sources and other core devices, and improve the development level of key core devices.
