This month, German laser giant Trumpf completed an expansion project at its smart factory in Pasing, Austria. The opening ceremony was held in the presence of members of the Tongkuai Group family and representatives from the business and political circles. Over the past two years, Tongkuai has invested approximately 40 million euros in the expansion of the factory.

The company has built two new production workshops with a total area of 7000 square meters and 850 square meters of office space. Governor Thomas Stelzer, CEO of Transsion Group, stated, "Through this significant investment, Transsion Group expresses its long-term commitment to Austria.

She added, "Parsing is one of our most important production bases outside of Germany, and we have a special cultural affinity here.

Thomas Stelzer, the Governor of Upper Austria, stated, "TRUMPF Maschinen Austria is one of the flagship enterprises of the state of Austria. It is particularly noteworthy that the company collaborates with surrounding schools, educational centers, and applied technology universities. These collaborations are the driving force behind the innovation capabilities of TRUMPF and Austrian enterprises.

Fully automated production in smart factories
Thilo Pre, General Manager of Tongkuai Austria Machinery Company Passionate, he said, "The core of the expansion project is the smart factory, equipped with our own state-of-the-art machinery and equipment.

On the one hand, this high-tech company can showcase innovative technologies in the field of sheet metal processing to customers here; On the other hand, Tongkuai Group is also independently manufacturing and processing sheet metal parts in smart factories.

According to analysis, this high degree of vertical integration saves costs. After the expansion is completed, the new laser hybrid welding system can automatically weld large components such as machine frames in the factory. The Parsing factory also supplies machine frames to other Trump factories. In addition, the newly added milling center can process large components with higher precision and reduce processing time by half.

Heat pumps and photovoltaic systems help promote sustainable development
As part of the factory expansion, Tongkuai has also built an energy center for carbon dioxide neutralization energy supply, equipped with a wood core heating system and heat pump. This high-tech company has also expanded its existing photovoltaic system by 406 kilowatts peak (kWp).

Over the past 33 years, Tongkuai has been the center of Tongkuai Group's bending technology. About 800 employees develop and produce bending machines, automatic bending units, and bending tools for sheet metal processing here. The company's sales in the previous fiscal year were approximately 530 million euros.
